Remap

Drag the four corners and four mid-edge handles so the projected image aligns with your physical surface.

Export remap

Copy the JSON below and paste it into a Noisedeck.app synth/remap effect's loader. The effect's per-zone surface dropdowns let you reassign which Noisedeck.app surface (o0o7) drives each zone.

    Remap

A free projection mapping tool that runs in your browser

Remap helps you align a projector to physical surfaces and define addressable zones for video and generative art. Calibrate with eight handles, paint zones onto the canvas, and copy a portable JSON file you can paste into Noisedeck.app's synth/remap effect to drive zones with surfaces o0o7.

    Calibrate

Open a webcam pointed at your projection surface, then drag the four corner handles and four mid-edge handles to align the camera view with the projected rectangle. The midpoints let you compensate for pincushion or barrel distortion in real-world spaces.

    Zones

Click to drop polygon vertices and define addressable regions. Each zone gets a name, a color for the editor, and a stable identifier that the Noisedeck.app effect uses for surface assignment. Up to eight zones, three to sixteen vertices each.

    Export

Copy the remap as JSON or download a .remap.json file. Open Noisedeck.app, drop in a synth/remap effect, paste the JSON into its config field, and assign each zone to one of o0 through o7.

    Library

Saved remaps live in your browser's IndexedDB and never leave the device. Export the JSON to back them up.
